ByNina | In Adoptable Cats, FIV+

Pay attention to the cat behind the curtain (or in this case the glass)! I could really use a second chance. I was abandoned by my previous owner and then attacked by a dog. Thankfully I was found and brought to the MCSPCA, where I was treated by the amazing medical staff. Now I’m healing nicely and ready for the family I deserve.

I am about 1 1/2 years young. I am a big fan of receiving attention! I love being petted so much, and I might ask for more with a tap of my paw when you stop.  I just need a place where I’ll get lots and lots of love and care, as well as some fun toys to play with!

I might be okay living with a sweet and relaxed cat like me, but I would not do well in a home with any dogs. I hope you’ll choose me because there’s no place like home!

I am FIV+, which means that my immune system can be weaker than the average cat. This isn’t a problem as long as I am kept inside and up-to-date on vet visits and vaccinations. FIV+ kitties typically run into problems when they are left outdoors to fend for themselves. Lucky for me, I am done with my outdoor days!!!! FIV is only transmitted from cat-to-cat through reproduction and bite wounds. My FIV+ status doesn’t bother me one bit and I hope you don’t care either! I know you’ll love having me around for sure!!!
