Open Daily for Walk In Adoptions

BREAKING

The MCSPCA was called to an undisclosed location in Hunterdon County to assist our shelter partner St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Centerwith a hoarding case reaching TRIPLE digits. Our team was there since 8am this morning helping to remove animals from the squalor and bring them to safety. All of these dogs seem to have had limited human contact and minimal to no veterinary care – we will need your support to get them all vaccinated, de-wormed and microchipped along with any other additional medical care they’ll need in the future including spay/neuter surgeries. Some of the dogs are pregnant and have masses and infections so will most definitely need extra care. Here’s what you can do to help these sweet dogs:

Donate HERE: We are in need of monetary donations in order to provide vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter surgeries, food, shelter and general compassionate care to the dogs we are currently housing PLEASE considering donating towards these dogs. You can donate here, directly through Facebook OR checks can be mailed to:

Shelter items: With the influx of dogs taken into the shelter, we are in need of blankets, towels, sheets, dog toys, paper towels, cleaning supplies and dog food/treats. Donations can be dropped off at our Eatonton shelter or you can utililize our Amazon Wish List here: amzn.to/2Kdcy6P

Foster: We are in need of foster home for several of the dogs we are housing. Dogs in our care, especially in cases like this, have a much easier time adjusting to their new surroundings in a home environment rather than in a shelter. If you are able to foster a dog, please email [email protected]

Adopt: These dogs are not currently up for adoption and we do not have information on when they will be. The dogs will need time to decompress, need to be medically cleared, spayed/neutered, and assessed behaviorally before they will be ready to meet potential adopters. With the amount of dogs we currently have, it may take 2-3 weeks before the dogs are available. PLEASE REMEMBER we have PLENTY of dogs and cats waiting patiently at our shelter already for their homes!

We will do our best to keep everyone updated on the status of this case and the dogs in our care! Thank you for helping us fulfill our mission to advocate for those who cannot speak for themselves
