Hurricane Harvey has devastated areas in Texas in ways we cannot imagine. Being animal lovers, we are particularly concerned with damages, overburdened shelters and pets being left behind.

The Monmouth County SPCA has pledged to Texas shelters to help lift the burden of the influx of animals by taking them to NJ to find their forever homes! The animals being taken out of Texas had already been relinquished by their owners before the storm. The purpose of taking these animals is to make room for the HUNDREDS of lost, displaced or abandoned animals due to Hurricane Harvey.

We are continuously taking dogs from the area effected areas back up to NJ but there are still THOUSANDS of displaced, lost, injured and abandoned animals in Texas that need our help! We also plan to partner with several other rescue organizations to continue these lifesaving efforts!

All donations can be made online via, through the mail via MCSPCA, Harvey, 260 Wall Street, Eatontown NJ 07724, or over the phone by calling 732-542-0040.

Money raised for this cause will go towards the Monmouth County SPCA and it’s many rescue efforts – including continuing to take animals from emergency type situations such as these.

Thank you for your ongoing support!!!
