Does your free microchip require an annual fee? Do you need an appointment for this Clinic?
    Thank you.

    Should I make an appointment?
I have two dogs that I would like to have microchipped. Do I need to bring any paperwork with me such as license or rabies certificate?

Likely there will be a huge turnout for the free microchip service (which is fantastic). Is it on a first come first served basis or can we pre-register?

Hi. I don’t have a carrier. Can I bring my dog in on a leash? He’s only 4 months old.

I recently acquired a pet that was microchipped through AVID. I will change the registration on line and there is a one time fee of about $20. My question – the chip you provide is free but what about the registration? Is that included too too?

    Hello there,
Our two standard poodles’ microchips [ received at the Eatontown clinic ] expired. This month we adopted a miniature poodle [ 1 yr, spayed, vaccinated, rabies expire in June]. Can our dogs receive a free microchip now? We live in Tinton Falls, 07724.
Thank you for your reply in advance,
    Agota

    Hi Agota!
Microchips don’t expire and are still hold their information and are able to be scanned and traced back to you. However, some miclrochip companies lead you to believe that you need to pay an annual fee for them which is not true. The annual fee usually includes extra bells and whistles that can help you find your dog if they get lost. So if your dogs already have them, they don’t need new ones but you’re more than welcome to get one for your new dog if she doesn’t have one already! I hope this helps.
