ByNina | In Adoptable Cats, FIV+

Your home. Give it to me now. I was a friendly stray found in Aberdeen, and I’m glad I came to the MCSPCA! The medical team discovered that I am FIV+. We are more prone to sickness when exposed to germs. Like with children at school, illnesses such as head colds can circulate easily in a shelter with so many felines hanging around. With limited resources to care for so many animals (sick or otherwise), shelters typically have to euthanize the cats that are most likely to get sick, and FIV+ kitties are always at the top of the list.

Luckily for me, the MCSPCA does NOT euthanize FIV+ kitties! And what a guy I am. I’m a big mush who loves being petted and nuzzling back against you so much. You’ll never want to leave home with all the love and fun that’s in store. And did you notice my extra toes? Just another reason I’m one pawesome cat!

I am only 1 year young. I can’t tell you if I’ve been around other cats before, but I’d be happy to get to know yours at home if they’re as friendly and mellow as I am. Totally fine if you want to give all the attention to me as an only cat too. Get me to the adopter because I want to say hasta la vista to my cubby!
