Open Daily for Walk In Adoptions

Business may be slowing down around us but animals will always need a safe haven in Monmouth County, so our work never stops. Over the weekend we took 3 pitbull mixes from an abandoned home in Asbury Park after receiving an anonymous tip. With some investigating, it was confirmed that these 3 dogs are in direct connection with the Neptune City resident who kept 8 other dogs and puppies living outside on a freezing cold porch in filthy crates.

The 3 dogs living in the abandoned house had no food or water available and were each living locked in separate rooms and on cold, bare floors that were covered in urine and feces. Our team quickly recovered the dogs are brought them to the MCSPCA where they immediately received the care they so desperately needed. All 3 of the dogs were filthy and stained with their own excrement, had overgrown nails, intestinal parasites and drank water voraciously when offered – we could only imagine what kind of life they were living 😞

Thankfully, these 3 dogs are now in our compassionate care and are finally learning that humans are here to LOVE them, not harm them. Please consider making a contribution so that we can continue to provide the highest level of care to these dogs and the thousands of other animals we rescue from abandonment, neglect and abuse each year. Our mission is supported by animal lovers like you!

As mentioned before, animal cruelty cases typically have lengthy court situations so we’re always looking for families to foster dogs, more specifically dogs that need to be the only pet – for info please email [email protected] ❤️
