How You Can Help
In
Honor or In Memory of a Person or Pet
A
donation made in honor of a person or a pet is a wonderful way to show your appreciation for that special someone, veterinarian, pet sitter, groomer or a beloved pet. It would make a wonderful gift for the animal lover you know- honor their pet and help shelter animals at the same time! A donation made in memory of person or pet can be a meaningful and heartfelt testimonial. We will send an acknowledgement card to the person of your choice. It is easy to do online!

Building Renovation Fund
Did you know that our animal areas have not been updated since the 1960s and that we are gearing up for a major renovation that will transform our shelter into a light, airy, cheerful place for animals and people alike? Donate online and choose " Building Renovation Fund" to help make it happen! |
Dutchess Veterinary Care Fund
In 1986, a Great Dane named Dutchess was rescued by our Humane Law Enforcement Division along with 80 cats from abuse and neglect. Despite our best efforts, poor Dutchess could not be saved. Dutchess was s special dog and in her honor we started the Dutchess Veterinary Fund. Donations to this fund are dedicated to cover the costs of veterinary care of the animals who come to us sick, neglected, abused or abandoned.
Donate to the Dutchess Veterinary Care Fund over the web by clicking on the button to the left-
or, send it to us via mail and put "For Dutchess Vet Care Fund" in the
memo portion of your check.
Spay/Neuter Fund
Every animal who comes to us who is not spayed or neutered does not leave until they are (unless they are too young, too old or for other medical reasons cannot go through the surgery). The most important way to reduce the numbers of homeless pets in bur county is to increase the number of animals who are spayed/neutered. Please support this important mission, donate and choose "Spay/Neuter Fund". Thank you!
Sponsor
A Pet
Every one of our adorable adoptables will be cared for until they find their "forever homes," no matter how long it takes. Our Sponsor-a-Pet Program helps us fulfill that mission by providing support for those pets during their stay with us. For only $30 a month, you can sponsor a shelter pet of your choice. We will let you know when the pet is adopted. If the pet is adopted before
the end of the month, the remaining donation will go towards the care
of another pet. |
Do this online over our secure server, choose 'Sponsor a Pet' and put the name of the pet you would like to sponsor in the appropriate box. Or, send it to us via mail and put "Sponsor a Pet" and the pet's name in the
memo portion of your check. |
OTHER WAYS YOU CAN HELP
BUY STUFF! Visit our shopping page where you will find our New Beginnings calendars, notecards and more. All net proceeds go directly to help the pets in our care. Find great gifts for friends, family or yourself!
Bequests
As an animal lover you may select the MCSPCA as beneficiary in your will. In this way you can assure ongoing support and care for needy pets. The MCSPCA recommends the following wording:
I give and bequeath to the Monmouth County SPCA shelter of 260 Wall Street, Eatontown, NJ the sum of $_________ for its general animal care purposes.
All
above donations are tax-deductible as permitted by law.

Shirley's Bucks for Baths
This
fund was started in memory of Shirley Goetz, our Executive Director's
long-haired Dachshund who she adopted many years ago from the MCSPCA. Shirley
just *loved* to be groomed all pretty, and shelter pets need grooming too. In a shelter the size of the MCSPCA, animals
can get dirty, very dirty. When animals are dirty, they do not feel or
look their best. The end result- it takes longer for them to find their
new homes.
Our goal is to get at least four shelter pets groomed each month. Your
donations can help. Mail your donation to the Monmouth County SPCA, SBFB
Fund, P.O. Box 93, Eatontown NJ, 07724.
These services directly raise funds for us:
What if the MCSPCA earned a penny every time you searched the Internet? Well, now we can!GoodSearch.com is a new search engine that donates half its revenue, about a penny per search, to the charities its users designate. You use it just as you would any search engine, and it's powered by Yahoo!, so you get great results. Just go to www.goodsearch.com and be sure to enter Monmouth County SPCA as the charity you want to support. Just 500 of you searching four times a day will raise about $7300 in a year without anyone spending a dime! And, be sure to spread the word!
Do you shop over the internet? Go to igive.com, do your shopping and a
portion, at NO COST to you, gets donated directly to the MCSPCA! Click
the logo and follow the instructions, it's that easy!
