OCTOBER 7, 2006, MCSPCA Annual Pet Fair and Dog Walk, A huge success!

For the first time, our annual Pet Fair and Dog Walk was hel
d at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft and let us tell you, it was GREAT. More people and their dogs showed up than ever before and found themselves with plenty of room both to walk around and to park! Brookdale went above and beyond the call of duty to make this event a special one. Thank you everyone at Brookdale!

As always, everyone showed their generosity. So far the event has raised over $113,000. This event is our biggest fundraiser and this year was no exception. Your support means a great deal to our staff, volunteers and most of all, the shelter pets waiting for homes. Thank you!
Special thanks go to Red Bank Veterinary hospital who once again led the way in corporate sponsorships by being our corporate partner (Dr. Tony DeCarlo is at the far left in the photo to the left). We thank all of our corporate sponsors, vendors, individual sponsors and supporters who helped make this event so successful. Assemblyman Michael Panter on hand to help with the festivities (he is at the far right in the photo on the left).

Rufus, Best in Show, Westminster Dog Show, was our "Spokesdog" and did he ever do a great job! Rufus graciously posed for photos with people as a fundraiser for the MCSPCA.

The Wag provided great music, this year doing an acoustic set which was wonderful!

We had great prizes this year, shown is our Executive Director, Ursula Goetz, announcing the awards.

We had dogs that seemed to run in packs.
