Looking to adopt a dog? Here's how to meet your perfect match!
The
Monmouth County SPCA offers the ASPCA Meet Your Match program to help
match dogs with the families that are perfect for them. Dogs are assessed
based on personality in order to give potential adopters an idea of how
they will behave in a home environment. Based on the assessment, they're
categorized as easy maintenance, average and low maintenance and then
their specific personality-or "canine-ality" -is identified. It's a
dating service for pets and people!

To find out
which canine-ality is right for you, print out and complete the Adopter
Survey here.
At the bottom of the form, total up the number of answers you've circled
in columns M, L and K. The column with the highest number of responses
indicates which maintenance category is right for you:
Most responses in column M means Easy Maintenance
(Color-coded purple)
Most responses in column L means Average Maintenance
(Color-coded orange)
Most responses in column K means High Maintenance
(Color-coded green)

our listing of available dogs and read about those whose canine-ality
profile matches the color of your preferred maintenance level. And after
you've met your perfect match online, come to the MCSPCA to meet in person
the dog that's just right for you!
